Celebrating Impact: Heller Jewelers x Always Dream Results

We are thrilled to share the success of our collaboration with Kristi Yamaguchi's Always Dream! With your help, we have significantly impacted the lives of children and families in the Bay Area. Thanks to the Always Dream collection sales, we donated $27,432.50 in 2024, providing vital support to early literacy programs in three local classrooms and empowering the next generation of readers.  

This contribution provides crucial resources, including books, digital materials, and personalized coaching, to 151 individuals from 60 families. Our dedicated book coaches have been instrumental in tailoring reading materials to appropriate levels, providing personalized support, and fostering a love for reading in the community.  

At LUCHA Elementary in San Jose, 88 individuals across two classrooms have benefitted, with families enthusiastically reading 4,148 minutes on their tablets and exploring over 1,433 books. Turner Elementary in Antioch has seen 63 individuals engaged in the program, with families reading 9,584 minutes on tablets and discovering 1,641 books. By addressing these young learners' needs, we empower them with essential literacy skills that will set the foundation for their future success.  

Always Dream continued to inspire students to keep reading over the winter break with a friendly competition: who could read the most consistently throughout the break?  We were thrilled to hear that our students at LUCHA Elementary were the winners! On February 13, Always Dream, and the Heller Jewelers team helped celebrate this reading milestone with the kids from LUCHA Elementary in San Jose. Sarah Heller joined Kristi Yamaguchi in the classroom for an extra special party in honor of their win, and we’re eager to see the results of the spring challenge!
