Heller Couples - Serena & Ross

Ross came to Heller Jewelers to design the perfect engagement ring for Serena. Based on Serena’s jewelry style of timeless and classic, he worked closely with Jessica to design the most magical ring for her. “It was a lot of fun and Jess took care of us from start to finish”, says Ross.  

Ross and Serena started dating in October of 2020 after meeting in 2019 through work. “It started with a phone call that turned into an easy conversation”. In January 2022 Serena moved in with Ross in the East Bay. In September of the same year, Ross and Serena moved to San Diego for Serena’s job. By Christmas, they purchased their first home together in Murieta, California.  

In April 2023, Ross and Serena joined his family vacation to Thessaloniki, Greece for an unforgettable trip. On April 18th, Ross surprised Serena by taking her to a private spot at the resort before dinner and asked her to marry him.  

After their magical engagement, they came back to Heller Jewlers to pick out their wedding bands and her day of jewelry. “We like supporting a family-owned business and everything felt special and unique”! 

Ross and Serena’s love of food and exploring new places was evident from their first date. "I knew it was real on their first date at Burgers & Brew when Serena broke her lamb burger in half with her bare hands” says Ross. Ross and Serena tied the knot on November 2, 2024, with their closest family and friends at Park Winters in Northern California. They are excited for their March honeymoon to see more of Europe together starting with Paris!
